***** 3 YEARS LATER *****

(Ally is 3 years old at this point)

*********************************************************************************************

(3rd Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) was sitting in the waiting room reading a fashion magazine. No matter what she did, (Y/N) couldn't help but worry as she stared at the door that lead to the doctor's office.

(Reader's P.O.V)

I kept looking at my watch then at the wall clock in the waiting room. It's only been a few minutes but it seems like AGES! Ally was in there getting her first injection, I couldn't help myself! Will she cry? Will she have a tantrum? All of these questions and more started to fill my head. I tried looking on the bright side as well, Al's in there with her and she's probably sitting on his lap too. Plus, she brought the stuffed panda that China gave her so that should be good for something. Right? But questions were answered when I heard a small scream followed by a cry coming from the doctor's office. It broke my heart...

About a minute later, Al came through the door with Ally in his arms and crying into his chest. America was rubbing small circles around her back while trying to comfort her. The second I saw Ally, I rushed towards her, scooped her out of Al's arms and held her close to my chest. "M-Mom-Momiiiieee! It hurrrrrts!" Ally cried. "I know, sweetie. I know..." I cooed to her while rubbing her back. "She wasn't THAT bad, was she?" I whispered to Al, "Ally was sitting on the Hero's lap, and she only started crying when the doctor gave her the shot. But other then that, the doctor said that she was very brave. Right, Ally?" Ally only nodded as she still cried. "I'll be back in a sec. The doc said that I had to sign some forms at the reception." Al walked over to the receptionist, and Ally started to cry a little harder. "Shh, shh. It's okay, Ally. Mommy's here now. I got you." It was heartbreaking seeing her like this, she was gripping onto her stuffed panda and my shirt for dear life. I had to do something to calm her down, or to keep her mind off it at least. I looked down at her, then an idea popped into my head!

"What's that on your dress, Ally?" I asked her as I pointed to the sticker on her dress. "It's a *sniff* a sticker." Ally sniffed. "Did the doctor give it to you?" Ally nodded. "Can I see it?" Ally lifted the top of her dress up revealed a big, yellow, star shaped sticker that read "#1 Star!" "WOW! You must have been a VERY good girl then!" Ally nodded before resting her head on my shoulder on fell asleep. "Wow, That was quick!" Al said as he walked over to us. "What was? The forms?" I asked him. "The side effects." "What side effects?! No one mentioned ANYTHING about side effects, Al!" I half yelled, trying not to wake up Ally. "Calm down, the doctor said that the shot might make her sleepy." Al said as he gently ruffled Ally's short, dirty blonde hair. "All that crying must have tuckered her out too. Poor baby..." I said as I gave Ally a kiss on her forehead.

***TIME SKIP***

On the car trip back home, Ally was still fast asleep. Her eyes were still puffy from crying. I couldn't help but feel sorry for my little girl..."Ah, quit worrying!" Al reassured me as we stopped at a red light. "Plus look at it this way, at least we got her to take a nap before England comes over. And we both know how hard it is to put Ally down for a nap! Ha ha ha!" "This isn't funny, Al!" I snapped at him, then the guilt came back. "I'm sorry. It's just I've never seen her cry that much before." "Nah, there was a time when it was much worse. Remember when Ally saw that scary movie and she kept on crying that a ghost was hiding in her closet?" I gave him an annoyed look. "Yes, I remember. I also remember that you got all three of us to watch it. Do you remember THAT, Mr. If-you-can't-handle-horror-movies-then-you-shouldn't-be-watching-them-at-all?" After bringing that up, the rest of the journey was quiet, (Except for a nervous laugh that came from Al) then a thought came into my head. "Maybe we could do something for her?"

***ANOTHER TIME SKIP***

We were finally home! I was in the kitchen making a cup of tea to calm myself down after today. Al was in the living room watching the TV (Probably Marvel or DC or something to do with superheroes) with a sleeping Ally lying down next to him. Besides me fiddling around int he kitchen and the sounds coming from the TV in the other room, everything was pretty much quiet. Until someone knocked on the door. "Al, can you get the door for me?" "WHAT? But this is the best part!" He whined. I gave him a low growl and a stern look, it didn't take him long to get off the couch and answer the door. I could hear the conversation from here. "Yo, England! Long time no see!" "Hello, America." I turned my head around the corner. "Hi, Arthur. I'm making some tea, do you want a cup?" "Yes, please." I place the cup in front of England as he sat down at the table. "I can see that Ally's taking her nap now. How long did it take to put her down this time?" England asked with a slight laughter at the end.

"Not that long..." I sighed while looking at the floor. "Hmm? What's the matter?" "(Y/N) is just bummed out because Ally had her shot this morning." Al said after a big gulp of cola. England's eyes widened slightly. "You mean an injection? She didn't have a temper tantrum, did she?" "No..." I said while looking up at England. "But she did cry, then the side effects kicked in and she fell asleep. *SIGH* I've never seen her so upset before..." England took a small sip a tea. "It's natural for children her age. Some children can handle them, and some children can't." He reassured me. "And besides, there WAS that time when a certain-someone made her watch a horror movie with him." Indicating Al. "OH, COME ON! DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO KNOW THAT?!" Al yelled while slamming his drink on the counter top. "Mommy...Daddy...?"

(3rd Person P.O.V)

A sleepy Ally entered the kitchen, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes with one hand and holding her stuffed panda with the other. (Y/N) and England turned to America with looks that read, 'well-done-for-waking-her-up'. "What did I do?!" America shrugged innocently. Ally's eyes lit up after she noticed England in the kitchen. She smiled and ran up to him yelling, "UNCLE IGGY!" England gave a small chuckle while lifting Ally up onto his lap. "Hello, poppet. Did you have a nice nap?" Ally nodded. "Ally, do you show Uncle Iggy your sticker?" (Y/N) said. "Oh yeah! I got a sticker, Uncle Iggy! See?" Ally smiled as she held out her dress, showing England the sticker. "Why, that's lovely sticker. Who gave it to you?" "The doctor gave it to me after I got my..." Ally stopped, and looked down as her smile faded. "What's the matter, love?" England asked as he rubbed her back, trying to get her attention. "The doctor gave me a shot..." Ally said as her teary, blue eyes met England's emerald eyes. "I didn't like it. It hurt me..."

"You know what, sweetie?" (Y/N) said, putting her cup in the sink. "What?" "I was thinking, maybe we could have a special treat today? For being such a big, brave girl." "I think that's a good idea." England agreed. Ally tilted her head in confusion. "A special treat? Like what?" (Y/N) pondered for a moment. "Well, we could go to the park. Or, we could go to Build-A-Bear. Or how about..." "Yo! Anyone up for McDonald's for lunch?" America interrupted. England and (Y/N) turned to America with smoke coming out of their heads. "Can't you think of anything else besides junk food?!" (Y/N) snapped. "I highly doubt it." England mumbled under his breath. "Hey! I didn't mean for me! I meant for a treat." America explained while flailing his arms. "McDonald's?" Ally asked. "Like the song, 'Old MacDonald had a Farm'?" America laughed. "It's not that kind of McDonald's, but it's a great place!" "What's so great about it?" Ally asked as America lifted her into his arms. "It has great food. Plus, it has Super Dad's favourite food ever!" Ally thought about for a second, then smiled. "I wanna go there!" "Well, I guess it's two-to-one." (Y/N) sighed. "Well, should be going now. You three enjoy yourselves."

***TIME SKIP***

(Reader's P.O.V)

We were in line to order, I had Ally in my arms. We were at the counter when Al yelled, "Let the Hero will order for all three of us!" I quickly shushed him. "We're in public! And you're NOT ordering for a three of us either." "What?! Why not?" Al whined. "Because, do you remember the LAST TIME I let you order something?" Al laughed nervously, "Uh...no...?" "You ordered EVERY junk food they had on the menu!" "Oh...right. Well then, give me Ally and I'll find us a place to sit." I brought the tray of food to the table with everyone's order. I got Al his usual Big Mac and large cola, fries and chicken nuggets with a medium Sprite for me and a Happy Meal for Ally. Before we could eat anything, Al took his phone out and began to record Ally. "Al? What are you doing?" "I wanna record the dudette's reaction to her first McDonald's ever! This is one of those precious moments that you HAVE to get on camera!" I didn't say anything. I watching Ally taking a chicken nugget, sniffed it and gave it a small lick before she bit into it. "How is it, Ally?" I asked. Ally's eyes sparkled like diamonds. "It's yummy!" She squealed happily.

"ALRIGHT!" Al yelled. "Recorded a childhood memory. Scratch that off my bucket list!" Ally reached in for another and pulled out a butterfly hair clip wrapped in a plastic bag. "Mommy! Daddy! Look! Look! Look what I got!" She said waving her prize around. "Wow, a sticker AND a new hair clip in one day? You're pretty lucky, Ally." Al said as he bit into his Big Mac. It was good to see her smiling after today. "Hey, Mommy. You know what?" "What is it, honey?" "I don't like getting shots. But I like getting McDonald's! Can we came here everyday?" She gave me the 'puppy dog eyes'. "Now, Ally. We can't eat McDonald's everyday. But I promise, we'll come again soon." Ally pouted a little. "Okay..." "Do you want me to open your prize for you?" She cheered up again. "Yes, please!" She gave me the hair clip. I opened the bag and clipped the hair clip in her hair. "There! You look gorgeous! Don't you think so, Al?" Al turned with a mouthful of the Big Mac and gave Ally a thumbs up.

Ally suddenly wrapped her arms around my waist. "I love you, Mommy."

"Mommy loves you too, Ally."
